Shangri-la Visitor’s Centre

Project Description: Located in a valley at the edge of the Tibetan
plateau, this project is designed across an approximate 30m change in elevation.  Main program elements include a shopping street, a ticketing centre and underground parking facilities.  Fluid circulation for visitors, cars and buses were carefully considered as well as views of the surrounding landscape and the use of elements of local traditional building styles.

Role in Project: Created plans and sections of development.  Reconciled complex level changes and planning requirements.
